gosplan is an architecture studio based in Genoa, led by Nicola Lunardi, Veronica Rusca, and Lorenzo Trompetto. The practice approaches architecture as a mass medium — a narrative form capable of generating meaning through space. Rather than conveying a single, incidental message — be it environmental, functional, authorial, or symbolic — each project is defined by its ability to establish new relationships between forms, ideas, and people. For gosplan, architecture is a conscious medium that acts upon reality and reshapes its perception, ultimately fostering cultural and social transformation. As a discipline with a dual nature — both physical and intellectual — architecture is at once a constructional art and a shared form of thought, the outcome of a collective process. Alongside its design practice, gosplan is engaged in continuous research through participation in exhibitions and conferences, academic
and postgraduate teaching, and the curation of exhibitions, publications, and cultural initiatives. In every project, the studio explores the rhetorical dimension of architecture, considering it not only as a tool, but also as a mirror — a space of reflection in which each individual can recognize, or reimagine, their own image of the world.
