Margine is an architectural firm founded in 2012 by Giulio Ciccarese and Valentina Pontieri, two architects who share the same vision of an architecture capable of narrating and supporting the transformation of space to meet the changing needs of humans, nature and society.
Their research activity at formal, functional and technological levels, inspires a complex architecture that embraces the creative and the production phases of the project, controlling quality, costs and processing times. The studio responds to client requests with solutions that enhance the intrinsic vocation of the spaces, each phase of the building process, from the design to the direction of the works.
The studio tackles the enhancement and protection of the landscape and the design of networks for sustainable mobility and slow observation. The firm accompanies the client from the feasibility assessment of a given intervention to the design of the strategies to accomplish it, providing assistance and technical and scientific support at each stage of the process. Margine also handles land planning, urban regeneration and participatory urban planning processes, and advises public and private bodies on the economic and technical planning of administrative territory.
