Revitalization of Hatay

SOUR
In February 2023, the city of Antakya was struck by two devastating earthquakes, leaving it in ruins and displacing thousands of residents. The city, known for its vibrant streets and cherished historical buildings, faced immense challenges in its path to recovery. In response, SOUR has undertaken a monumental project to help rebuild the infrastructure and revive the spirit and essence of Antakya.

New Dutch Embassy in Ankara

The new Dutch embassy in Ankara, Turkey, is the latest embassy building for Dutch overseas diplomatic services. The building features a high degree of openness and incorporates numerous sustainable features. The embassy in Ankara is among the largest that the Netherlands possesses. This new construction represents the transition towards sustainability of this era. Construction is currently scheduled to start in August 2024.

The project area residential pattern has been isolated between, Ege University residences and İzmir-Manisa main arterial road.This isolated attitude of the zone is reflected to the project area due to the inadequacy of the socio-cultural functions of the transfer zone and the open area density can not be kept permanent.
