LMN Architects is pleased to celebrate the completion of the Seattle Aquarium’s new Ocean Pavilion expansion. The project designed in collaboration with Thinc Design is the first substantial addition of the Aquarium since 2007, and features 50,000 SFT of immersive habitats, back-of-house elements, educational spaces, and views of the surrounding natural landscape and the urban waterfront.

In the design of the Vratislavice cemetery extension, we sought a form that is appropriately dignified yet contains a glimmer of hope without relying on religious symbols. We call this approach "comforting architecture."

The HUBO designed and renovated by Sò Studio is connected to the "Hongqiao Transportation Hub", one of the core urban hubs in Shanghai. The approximately 3KM underground corridor is dotted with numerous traffic passages, office centers, and service offerings, but it looks like a maze.

The Dogtrot House

Studio Becker Xu, founded and led by Robert Becker and Sharon Xu, has designed The Dogtrot House, a 3,400-square-foot home on a densely wooded site in Hillsborough, a town just outside of the Raleigh-Durham area. Nestled in a forested grove at the north end of a narrow, 10-acre site, the house is sheltered by oak, sweet gum, maple and persimmon trees, and opens onto an expansive view of a pond.
