Autor: Fiedler Marciano Architecture

Fiedler Marciano Architecture was established as a design practice in 2006 by principals Mark Fiedler and Martin Marciano. The firm employs a design approach that is simultaneously rigorous and intuitive, in the pursuit of innovative and versatile design solutions on a wide array of project types and sizes. Extensive experience collaborating with cultural and institutional clients such as The Picasso Museum Foundation, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Salvation Army, and Syracuse University has equipped both Mark and Martin with an acute understanding of the unique richness of opportunities, challenges, and complexities that large scale work offers. The firm also engages in a variety of smaller scale residential and commercial projects, employing an inquisitive, hands-on and personal approach yielding design solutions that respond to the aspirations and needs of the individual client. The goal for projects of all scales is to achieve a result that is inspired, functional, and relevant. Our design process fosters an environment of creativity and collaboration among the entire project team including owners, consultants, contractors, and product specialists. After clearly defining the inspirations, goals, requirements, and restraints of a given project, a variety of solutions are proposed, critiqued, and refined. This reiterative methodology ensures that the final product will embody a thoughtful design of singular character. Emphasis on the quality of space and light, and diligent attention paid to materiality, functionality, flexibility, transparency, sustainability, and sincerity of the architectural expression, characterize the design work of our firm.
