El restaurante toma su nombre, Samara, del fruto alado de los arces que gira como un helicóptero. Esa atención a la naturaleza encuentra su contraparte en el diseño del restaurante. En el interior, dominan los ricos tonos tierra que recuerdan un sotobosque tranquilo y arbolado.

For this project, Fivedot was able to turn a casino, which took from the community, into a library; which gives back to the community.

This family retreat on Hawaii’s Big Island takes the form of several canopy-like pavilions dispersed around the site, linked by elevated wooden lanais and a series of gardens. Hale Lana, which translates to “floating home,” appears to hover over the site’s lava fields and dense gardens.

Skylab Architecture
The Columbia Building supports the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services. Housing workspace, a visitor reception area, and public meeting spaces, the 11,640-square-foot building not only supports the engineering department of the wastewater treatment facility but also functions as an immersive educational experience, all integrated within a sustainable landscape.
