World Architecture Festival 2012
La presente edición del World Architecture Festival (WAF), el evento global de arquitectura más grande del mundo, tendrá lugar en Singapur del 3 al 5 de octubre de 2012. En esta edición, los premios se dividen en cuatro secciones principales: Edificios completados, Proyectos de paisaje, Proyectos futuros (para diseños en desarrollo) y Proyectos de interiorismo y pequeños proyectos. Cada sección incluye hasta 16 categorías de participación.
World Architecture Festival is the world’s largest, live, truly inclusive and interactive global architectural awards programme. It is a unique meeting point for architects, suppliers and clients, attracting hundreds of entries and visitors from all over the world.
Award categories
All entries are shortlisted by an international panel of architects and leading industry figures after the entry deadline. Up to 16 projects can be shortlisted in each category. If your project is shortlisted two individuals from your practice will be required to purchase tickets to attend the Festival and present live in front of a jury and festival visitors. If you win your individual category you have the opportunity to compete for World Building of the Year, Landscape Project of the Year or Future Project of the Year. All category winners will be asked to present again on Friday 5th October in order to compete for these overall awards.

Be inspired by the world’s greatest architects, every shortlisted architect, in 2011 there were over 400, will present their award entry in front of their peers and the international judging panel.

A curated exhibition showcasing some of the most exciting new projects from around the world.
