Globalization & Remote
Globalization threatens the very existence of the remote. It reaches and relates almost every place of the planet, with the others. It is good to release remote places from the tyranny of being small towns, big infernos, but also of the foolish comfort of provincialism and self-content, opening up the remote to the world.
On the other hand, the uniqueness of people and places must be preserved, to keep the human diversity that has made us succeed the many chances of life… I imagine traveling is like life, an invitation to love diversity, that seen from afar at the remote, may look less threatening, I guess,
