BEYOND MEDIA 09, International Festival for Architecture and Media

BEYOND MEDIA www.beyondmedia.it will take place at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Italy, July 9-17, 2009 on the theme VISIONS. The festival is one of the main events worldwide dedicated to the most current visions on contemporary architecture and on the outcomes of the intense relations which exist between architecture and the media. The event, organized by Image www.image-web.org and curated by Marco Brizzi, has taken place in Florence since 1997; it is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Culture, by the Municipality of Florence, and by the University of Florence, in cooperation with Stazione Leopolda, venue of the events.

The June 11th press conference will be the occasion for disclosing the contents of the festival, for revealing the names of its protagonists and the program’s highlights, for meeting the curators and for having a sneak preview of the selected architecture videos.
