Independence

They accumulate and pile up, forming a single body, levelled off in alignment. A sum of individuals and a reflection of a society.
In its entirety a sign of identity is retained: a bedroom is situated on the border looking outside and this makes each home unique. From the street it is easy to indicate a specific point and say, “See that turquoise part? That’s my house.”

Non-hierarchical flats

Designed to be shared by individuals in similar situations, these are non-hierarchical flats. In each one of them, four individuals or couples have equivalent, private spaces that are well designed for working/studying, relaxing, and sleeping, as well as including a space for personal grooming and for storage. Sharing such spaces permits the optimization of other facilities and provides a space for interacting.

Apartment houses

Appearing to be a single unit, these houses are composed of seven, quasi-independent apartments and a few common areas. The creation of a few square metres of shared space increases the benefits of the House (which could even include sharing the work of the person in charge of the domestic chores), above all offering the option to share certain activities and moments.

Access

There are two ways to access each unit: rapid access and scenic access (“promenade verte”). The scenic access arrives at street level by means of a series of outdoor gardens that form the roofs of the building. These gardens are a meeting place, both for leisure and for voluntary tending to vegetables and flowers; a lookout over the city and a proposal for the greening of urban spaces.
