LAMBER + LAMBER is an architectural firm. Our approach to design is free from any preconception. We simply believe in the best possible project. We use different types of tools: a scale model, a photograph, a reference, a word, a draft: anything that can arise in the blink of an eye. To us, each project is unique. However, there is a leitmotiv that connects our projects. This is the innate passion that has characterized us for generations and that turns whatever we do into love. A successful project is a project that is worth loving and living regardless of its ultimate purpose: a house, a public space, a wellness facility. To us, architecture is what connects and establishes new relationships between all things that surround us: people, nature, politics, economy, social networks, fashion, art and passions.

In 2018, Fiorella and Mario Lamber founded LAMBER + LAMBER. The firm is the natural evolution of the professional careers of both founding members (who are also siblings).

Fiorella Lamber graduated in civil/construction engineering in Bologna. In 1997, she became a partner at SABL. She carried out projects on different scales. Specifically, she covered urban development projects and master plans including the master plan inspired by the Dutch woonerf. Moreover, she took part in the design of the new elementary school in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bologna). Since 2018, she has been a member of the Committee for the architectural quality and the landscape of Sant’Agata Bolognese (Bologna).

Mario Lamber earned a degree in Architecture at the University of Ferrara in 2007. He was one of the co-founders of the MMVL collective, which soon become one of the most renowned emerging architectural groups in Italy (New Italian Blood Award 2012), and was selected for Young Blood 09 (an annual compilation of top Italian talent). Since 2009, he has been collaborating as assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara. Since 2018, he has been a professor of architecture for wellness at YACademy in Bologna.

Thanks to its constant growth, LAMBER + LAMBER has designed several projects throughout Italy, specifically in Milan, Bologna, Rome and the Republic of San Marino. Among them, are the PRIME wellness centres in Bologna and Milan, the ongoing PRIME Torre Galfa project in Milan, the new parish complex in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna), the re-branding of the PALESTRE ITALIANE wellness centres and the winning proposal for a diffused hotel in Rosciolo dei Marsi (L’Aquila). The firm’s projects have been exhibited at diverse venues including the MAXXI Museum in Rome and the International Biennial of Landscape Architecture in Barcelona.
