INOUTarchitettura is a multidisciplinary architecture, landscape architecture, design and research lab, founded in 2012 by Mario Assisi (Kicevo, MK 1982) and Valentina Milani (Ferrara, IT 1982), and located in Ferrara. INOUT provides an integrated approach to urban design, architecture and landscape architecture.

Working with private clients and public administrations, and collaborating with architecture and engineering firms, the office develops designs solutions across different design scales, from territorial analysis to architectural detailing. INOUT is committed to creating projects with a strong conceptual and experimental basis, and participating in national and international design competitions, for which it has been awarded and nominated for several prizes and awards. These include: First prize for the Requalification of the “Parco della Darsena” along the “Po di Volano”, Ferrara (2018); first prize for the points of access at the “Parco del Delta del Po”, Emilia Romagna (2015); a nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2015 and selection from among other four finalists for the YAP 2014 Fondazione MAXXI, Rome; and first prize for the 2013 Europan 12 in Kristinehamn (SE).
