Diversity and Inclusion
We know diversity is a key driver in our creative practice and recognize empowerment as fundamental to our success. We have created an inclusive, supportive, and safe workplace for all genders, ages, ethnicities, orientations, nationalities, and abilities. As a small business with a long history of collaborations with MBE and WBE firms, our team should always reflect the diversity of our clients, users, and the communities in which we work. We recognize the critical role that architectural practice plays in the design and construction of inclusive and creative places for living, working, and participating in vibrant communities.
Thomas Phifer has established an Architecture Fellowship at Clemson University that opens doors for underrepresented graduate students. The Fellowship supports tuition in the School of Architecture for two graduate students for two years from the underserved and underrepresented community, in an effort to increase access and broaden a more diverse pathway within the profession of architecture in South Carolina.
