Columns of bookshelves articulate spaces.
This is a renovation project in the 1stnd floor of a house.
The owner has lots of books,so she wants to make bookshelves to accomodate these books.
Also the owner wants a living space which softly devide it from kitchen.
How we design bookshelves for those books was our main design theme.
We designed bookshelves like a ‘column of books’ and plaed them arc-shaped.
These bookshelves are like loovers,and they would softly devid the living space and kitchen.
At nights,these bookshelves play a role of lighting equipments,and they illuminate the rooms.I think new scene came into being in this house by designing and expanding the means of bookshelves.
