Leça do Balio II House

The project occupies all the area permited by the allotment regulation, with 250 sqm per floor. The house multiplies in three different floors, one of them being the basement which gets natural illumination through several patios. Most of the spaces are facing South opening onto the terrace that ends in the pool where the water flows over the edge.

In the basement we have the garage, the cinema room, the laundry room and a suite for the guests. In the grounfloor there is the living room, the kitchen and the office. In the upper floor we have four suites, all of them with a closet and a private bathroom. Beyond the staircase the communication between the diferrent floors is made by an elevator.

The wall to the street was made with granite stone from the region, to give continuity to the existing walls in the subdivision. In the access to the garage, a permeable pavement was used, which contributes significantly to sustainable urban drainage. In the garden, several fruit trees and other typical of the region were planted.
