Family House in Mature Garden

With a slope descending southward, the house opens up to both the garden and the surrounding views. The interior space is intricately arranged in connection with the sloping terrain, the garden, and the proportions of individual rooms centered around a spacious hall. This hall connects all five levels of the house—from the lowest level, closest to the garden and serving as the main living area with direct access to the garden via a terrace, to the highest level featuring a study, extending up to the roof ridge.

From the outside, the house exudes a simple, rural character, with only the placement of windows hinting at the dynamic interior design. The materials used unify the interior and exterior with their simplicity, natural quality, and authenticity: untreated, rough-sawn wood on the exterior, oiled wood on the interior, local stone, and black metal.

The garden has been left in its original state, preserving its character. From the outside, the house blends into the surrounding trees and shrubs, while from the inside, the garden provides surprising vistas and framed views. It naturally forms semi-enclosed nooks and corners, enhancing its charm and intimacy.
