House on Golo

With every realisation of a project the architect fundamentally interferes with the natural or urban ambient. The site is never again the same as it was before the intervention. Because of that, the architects responsibility to the space into which he intervenes is even greater.

Concrete house

The building consists of two rectangles placed perpendicularly on top of each other. The two rectangles connected by a bare concrete strip with a wooden like texture, formed by the formwork from where it was produced, this concert strip act as a ribbon, wrapping the rectangles together.

That house

The site is neighboured by huge houses. We were asked to provide the family with ‘just the right amount of space’. By creating large openings and generous connections to the garden we aimed to make this modest-sized house feel abundant and broad. The result is a home that is almost half the size of its neighbours without compromising liveability.

Mororó house

The Mororó House is in a mountainous region, 180 km from the city of São Paulo, known for its low temperatures. The architecture sought to create generous internal spaces for the cold days, such as, for example, a cozy living room and an enclosed bathhouse with a pool, where the views can be appreciated while being protected by a skin of glass.
