Fine Arts Museum, in Chur

The extension of the Villa Planta, which will accommodate the Bündner Kunstmuseum, is an exercise of integration within an urban ensemble. Despite the stringent limitations of the plot, the design strives to minimize its exterior volume by inverting the program’s logical order. Hence, a new public space is generated that incorporates the garden that surrounds the Villa and is integrated with the gardens of the nearby buildings.

M Woods Entrance Revitalization

M Woods Entrance Revitalization is an urban renewal project in Beijing 798 Art Zone. The site was an abandoned industrial warehouse originally and it was used as an art museum since two years ago. The museum operators expect to have a façade and entrance renovation in order to refine visiting experience, and to improve the recognition of the museum’s public image.

New Pecci Center for Contemporary Art in Prato

The project for the extension of the Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, signed by architect Maurice Nio, is part of a predominantly industrial area, economically vibrant but still devoid of any prominent architectural feature. It is conceived as an extension and connection for the original building, designed by Italo Gamberini completed in 1988.

MeCri Museum extension

MeCri Museum began with the dream of a 80 year old woman to realize a museum in memory of her father Aldo Crivelli, who was a famous archaeologist and painter of the southern Swiss region of Ticino. The idea was to refurbish an existing building in her beloved old town of Minusio and convert it into a museum to display the artwork of her father and other artists.

Luo Fu Shan Shui Museum was a collective “hidden” architecture works (GFA 6100 sqm) built to accommodate private art collections from oriental paintings to sculptures, in parallel to be used as a private leisure club.
