Shekou is defined by a mixed landscape. Mountains and sea, an industrial fabric from the early economic reform era, and recent skyscrapers form a dynamic context.

This unique building on Keizersgracht was built in 1788 for a society of scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and thinkers. It was a hotspot for creativity and cross-overs during intellectual movement "The Enlightenment". Five different departments were housed in one building; Music, Commerce, Literature, Physics and Drawing.

Concordia Design Wrocław

MVRDV has completed construction of Concordia Design, a mixed use building containing co- working spaces, an event venue, a food hall, a café, and a rooftop terrace on Słodowa Island in Wrocław, Poland. The project is a renovation and extension of a 19th-century listed building, retaining the façade of the existing building and adding a contemporary extension to create a focal point for the neighbouring park and a destination that will enhance the experience of the island for visitors.

1000m2 Prefabricated

The requirements for this project were boldly defined from the beginning: the construction should be fast, cost effective and changeable over time, which prompted the studio to use prefabricated elements and to leave parts of the project undefined, assuming the immediacy, flexibility and resources optimization as core themes.

Senezh Management LAB

Mecanoo was selected as the winner of the international architectural competition for the development of the Senezh Management LAB. The contest was organized by AHO Россия - страна возможностей, while the architectural bureau RTDA acted as the operator.

COBE reveals images of the completed Red Cross Volunteer House

The Red Cross Volunteer House gives 34,000 volunteers a setting for the continuous development of their work in Denmark. The building is designed by COBE in cooperation with the volunteers as a celebration of volunteer work and commitment and as a meeting place for the volunteers, the city and anyone wishing to contribute to the work the Red Cross does for marginalized citizens.
