Half-museum and half-language laboratory, HENN’s proposal for the German Language Forum (Forum Deutsche Sprache) is the first building of its kind. The building will act as museum, public meeting place and research facility for the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS). The goal of the Forum is to make the ephemeral experience of language tangible through exhibitions, discussion and ongoing research.
