Formada en 1989, Snøhetta es una reconocida firma internacional de arquitectura, paisajismo, arquitectura de interiores y diseño gráfico con sede en Oslo, Noruega y la ciudad de Nueva York. A partir de 2012, la firma, que lleva el nombre de uno de los picos montañosos más altos de Noruega, cuenta con aproximadamente 120 empleados que trabajan en proyectos en Europa, Asia, la región árabe, los Estados Unidos y Canadá. La práctica se centra en un enfoque transdisciplinario en el que múltiples profesiones trabajan juntas para explorar diferentes perspectivas sobre las condiciones de cada proyecto. El respeto por los diversos orígenes y culturas es una característica clave de la práctica; Reflejando este valor, Snøhetta está compuesta por diseñadores y profesionales de todo el mundo.

Located on the 21st floor of the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Oslo, the renovation of Summit Bar was completed in June 2016. With its breathtaking view over Oslo as a starting point, it was a natural direction to emphasize this quality and to the strengthen the concept behind the summit.

Calgary’s New Central Library, in Canada

The design team embraced the city’s diverse urban culture and unique climate, striving to create the right library for Calgary by establishing a vibrant, welcoming and accessible public space in the heart of this rapidly expanding metropolis. Inspired by the nearby foothills, the site is transformed into a terraced topography that rises up and over the existing Light Rail Transit Line crossing the site.
