Shenzhen Maritime Museum
Shenzhen Maritime Museum is situated in a beautiful environment between the Dapeng Peninsula mountains and the sea of Longqi Bay.
We imagined a cloud-like horizontal landmark here, like clouds emerging from the sea.
The program is organized into connected hemispheres of various sizes to allow visitors free circulation throughout the museum. It sits on the site to form organic relationships with the surroundings. The building is also cloaked in a semi-transparent material to softly reflect the scenery of the surroundings.
Our aim is to create a new horizontal landmark where architecture and landscape blend to create a new type of environment.
