Reforma da Residência GGL, a garden retreat in the city

By expanding the lot, the project created a quiet, green refuge that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors  perfect for relaxing on sunny afternoons, hosting friends or simply slowing down during long summer days.

Between the house and the new garden, a wooden pergola defines the path, filters the sunlight and creates spaces for contemplation and leisure. Lush tropical vegetation reinforces the feeling of continuity, while natural materials such as wood and stone connect the architecture to its surroundings.
The intervention redefined the relationship between the house and the garden, encouraging cross ventilation, plenty of natural light and an inviting atmosphere designed for contemporary living.
