130 William

Lightstone, one of the largest and most diversified privately held real estate companies in the United States, is developing 130 William, a new luxury high-rise tower located in lower Manhattan.

130 William Overview

– 130 William is designed by visionary architect Sir David Adjaye. He is responsible for the holistic vision of 130 William, including its iconic exterior architecture, as well as all of the building’s luxurious interiors.

– Adjaye Associates has designed culturally significant and genre-redefining developments around the world, including the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall in Washington DC; the National Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre in London, UK; and the National Cathedral in Accra, Ghana.

– 130 William will rise approx. 800 feet tall – 66 stories – to make a bold architectural statement and a unique addition to Manhattan’s iconic skyline.

– It will consist of 242 residences and will provide an expansive collection of over 20,000 square feet of amenities.

– The building will also incorporate a new public plaza park, also designed by Adjaye, as well as over 20,000 square feet of retail, both located at the building’s base.

– Adjaye Associates collaborated with celebrated local architect Hill West on the project.

– Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is exclusively handling sales and marketing.

– After being recognized as 2018’s fastest selling luxury condominium development in New York City, 130 William has continued its strong sales velocity into 2019.

Architectural Design

– Adjaye was inspired to craft a building that pushes away from the typical commercial feel of glass and that instead embraces New York’s history of masonry architecture.

– 130 William’s custom hand-cast façade is a contemporary interpretation of the stonework that characterized classic Manhattan architecture. The textured façade gives way to smooth and delicately crafted details, which all come together with refined bronze detailing.

– Each residence is crafted with airy interiors framed by oversized bronze arched windows. Wide-plank white oak flooring underfoot enhances warmth throughout.

– Complementing the refined nature of the building, Adjaye custom designed all the fixtures and hardware throughout the residences in a beautiful burnished bronze finish. This includes all faucets, showerheads, accessories, and door handles, which were all made in the USA.

– Thoughtfully detailed, the open-plan kitchens are enhanced with custom Pedini Italian millwork cabinetry, state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances, and hand-selected Italian Pietra Cardosa stone countertops sourced directly from the Apuan Alps in Tuscany, Italy.
