Family house in Utriai, Lithuania
The customer is an entrepreneur who goes for agricultural production (chickens(eggs), pigs rearing).
His wife is a design student at the art college and she has been for many years explicitly interested in furniture design. It’s a three member family house. The house was build on the Minija valley slope. The house image: A a fire place from a huge logs or like the Noah‘s ship where the family with all their belongings and animals moved from the city.

– The project was nominated for the competition European Union Prize For Contemporay Architecture in the Mies van der Rohe Award 2007 exhibition.
