1991 – present Lives and works in Berlin, GermanyPlastique Fantastique is a platform for temporary architecture which samples the performative possibilities of urban environments. Established in Berlin in 1999, Plastique Fantastique has been influenced by the unique circumstances that made the city a laboratory for temporary spaces and has specialised in creating pneumatic installations as alternative, adaptable, low energy spaces for temporary and ephemeral activities.The transparent, lightweight and mobile shell structures relate to the notion of activating, creating and sharing public space and involving citizens in creative processes. They are in many ways the simplest of structures – a skin that separates but also connects. The result is a site specific installation that breathes new life into the city and makes the invisible visible.

At present Plastique Fantastique develops project-oriented teams to realise a wide range of projects worldwide, depending on the specific request.
Some of these projects has been presented during several festivals such as Metropolis Festival Copenhagen, Urbane Künste Ruhr, 48 Stunden Neukölln Berlin, TodaysArt Festival The Hague, 4 Days in Motion Festival, Prague, Clerkenwell Design Week London, 3,2,1 Festival Bilbao and exhibited at Saatchi Gallery, London, MUDEC Milan, Milan Triennale, Venice Biennale, CCCB Barcelona, Design Week Helsinki and published in many design, architecture and art magazines.Plastique Fantastique regularly gives lectures at various international institutions such as Aalto University (Finland), Universidad Nacional, Bogotá (Colombia), IDAS Hongik University Seoul (Korea), Kunsthochschule Weißensee Berlin (Germany), 180 Creative Camp Abrantes (Portugal), Metropolis LAB Copenhagen (Denmark), University of Nicosia (Cyprus) and IED Madrid (Spain).
